Autumn Look Book
Today I thought I'd try something a little bit different and turn from the world of travel to the world of fashion! As you may or may not know, I love autumn. Like, I seriously love autumn, especially fall fashion. So I thought I'd highlight some of my favourite outfits that I've been wearing this season. Since I haven't been able to do much but go to work and come back again, they're not particularly imaginative, but maybe they will provide some inspiration for someone out there!
This outfit has been a classic for me at work. It's super seasonal and different, but it's also incredibly comfy. I don't have to think about my outfit at work when I'm wearing it, which is exactly what I want! The dress is light and florally (it would also work well in Spring) and does a good job of covering up in the cold weather. I pair it with plain black tights and brown combat boots to give it more of an edge to avoid it looking too spring-like.
This is a great one for the weekends as it's super casual and super comfy. Again, the black tights make an appearance, and I would normally also wear some black or brown chelsea boots with this attire (not pictured). The main outfit is a yellow jumper with a polo neck. The jumper itself is actually slightly cropped which I hate, but as I'm wearing the black dungarees with shorts it covers it up so it works well! I'm super in to mustard yellow at the moment (as shown by my blanket behind me), so I really enjoy wearing this outfit.
In this picture I'm wearing this Zara jacket with my work wear, but typically I enjoy wearing this on a day out shopping or something like that. It dresses up any outfit and the light tan colour goes well with the season. I do try and wear this on days where it isn't raining though, as it doesn't strike me as a waterproof coat!
This is one of my most casual autumn outfits; I actually wore it on my day out to Glenfinnan and it worked great! The combat boots make another appearance, along with some classic blue skinny jeans. I tend to avoid light coloured trousers/shorts/skirts, so I pushed myself out my comfort zone a little bit on this one! It's hard to see in this picture but I'm also wearing a brown leather satchel that matches my shoes. On the top half, I have a white t-shirt and an oversized flannel jacket which I've actually seen a lot of people wearing this year!
My final outfit is what I wore to go pumpkin picking and it worked great! I wore the long-legged version of my short dungarees from above along with a white turtle-neck jumper (it's actually just the white version of the yellow one). Normally I would just wear a pair of trainers with this look, but as it might have been muddy I wore black combat boots. To complete the look, I wore a black hat to add something a bit different to the look, but it was a bit windy so I pretty much only wore it for the pictures!
If you would like more information on any of the clothes, please don't hesitate to send me a message and I'd be happy to try and find some more details for you. Share your favourite outfits with me on social media:
