Cauliflower Bites Recipe

That's right, it's recipe time! Today we're making one of my favourite snacks; cauliflower bites. They're a delicious, semi-healthy, vegetarian quick-eat that are also easy to make! I can't quite remember where I got this recipe from, but I want to stress that it is not my own. It was probably Kitchen Sanctuary, which is where I get a lot of my recipes.

INGREDIENTS:
95g plain flour
1 tsp paprika
2 tsp garlic powder
180ml milk
Cauliflower florets

Start by preheating the oven to 230 degrees celcius. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. then, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, and milk into a bowl and mix together until it becomes a batter. Pull apart the cauliflower into smaller pieces, and then mix in with the batter until fully covered.

Put in the oven for 10 minutes, then flip and cook for another 10 minutes.


During this time, make the sauce:

INGREDIENTS:
70g hot sauce
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp honey

Combine all the ingredients together in a bowl. Take the cauliflower out of the oven and brush the sauce over the top. Then put back in the oven and cook for another 20 minutes.

And voila, that's it! As I said, super easy to make, and requires very little effort. You can batch cook and make loads, or make a small portion like I did this time. It's super delicious and spicy (so feel free to use less hot sauce if that's not your cup of tea). If you give this recipe a go, feel free to share your end results with me!
