Monthly Favourites - June
And so we find ourselves at my second Monthly Favourites post! If you're new, I've recently started a new series, where at the end of each month I go through my favourite TV show, movie, item, and experience of the month. I hope you enjoy!
TV Show: Scotland's Home Of The Year
This is maybe one of my favourite shows of all time. Frustratingly, you can only watch it if you have access to BBC Scotland, but if you do, I cannot recommend it enough. It's nothing but three professionals looking around people's homes from different areas of Scotland, and then deciding a winner based on interiors and architecture. If you're into interior design, this is the show for you! Each week, the houses are so different, ranging from ultra modern and high tech, to cosy and quaint. There's something for everyone, and it's such a feel good show. I spend the whole day looking forward to watching it!
This film had been sitting in my 'To Watch' list on Netflix for ages, and I've only just got around to watching it. If I'm honest, this film won't be for everyone. It's stupid and it's juvenile, but if you can get past that and realise what you're watching and just get into the vibe of it, then it's actually a good time. It's not going to be winning any awards, but if you're looking for something light-hearted, easy to watch, and summer-y, then this is the film for you!
Experience: Scary Games Squad Playing Until Dawn
This is a bit of a weird one to recommend, as it's kind of an experience...recently I've been binge watching the Scary Games Squad on YouTube playing Until Dawn. It's an old series, but I've only just come across it, and let me tell you, it is so much fun! It's so cool to watch four friends play this game and argue about all the different decisions that come up. It's no secret on this blog that I'm a big fan of the Until Dawn/Dark Pictures Anthology, and this might just be my favourite gameplay of it. I'm now watching their Man of Medan/Little Hope videos, which are just as fun!
Item: Glass Water Dispenser
I bought this on a whim on Amazon a while ago, and it's revolutionised my life! No longer do I have to get up and down to refill my cup; I have my own dispenser right beside me! When I get home from work I immediately fill this up, and then sit on my sofa and I don't have to leave again! In all seriousness, this has helped me drink so much more water since it's so convenient, and I'm so glad I have it! It's also nice to have if you have people over to pour drinks. I highly recommend!
And those are my favourites for June! I hope you enjoyed! Please feel free to share with me what your favourites are in these categories for this month; I'd love to know!
