My Center Parcs Trip, Days 3 & 4
Welcome to the final post in my Center Parcs trip series! I had a fantastic time in the Lake District, and I'm excited to share the last two days of my trip. Day three was definitely the busiest day...we did so many incredible things!
We started off the day with a game of badminton. You can book lots of sporting activities during your time at Center Parcs, and we had a fantastic time booking a court and taking around 30 minutes of our day to play a super fun sport! I wasn't able to take a picture of this one, but we had a great time.
After spending a little bit of time back in the lodge getting ready for the day, we headed to the town centre and had our lunch at Cafe Rouge. This is a French restaurant with a range of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. We had a couple of drinks, and I went for a chicken baguette and chips...it was delicious! The best part was sitting in the atrium with the tropical theme around us; it's a really beautiful place to sit.
We then enjoyed walking around the park for the afternoon, getting to know each corner and seeing the different types of accommodation on offer throughout Center Parcs. A great thing about where we were staying was that we could sit on our patio and watch people do a huge aerial zipline. This was so much fun watching people take the leap off a giant pole and screaming all the way down the wire, so we spent a fair bit of our afternoon watching that! At around 5pm we headed down to Adventure Golf to play 18 holes. There's nothing better than a fun game of crazy golf; I highly recommend!
To end the day, we ordered another takeaway, this time from Huck's; an American restaurant on site. Between us we got chips, onion rings, chicken wings, mac and cheese, and chilli. We had a fantastic time enjoying dinner in our room, and the food was delicious!
Finally we made our way to Monday, which was our departure day. Before we left, we headed to the Pancake House to enjoy a nice breakfast before heading out. I got the apple dutch waffle which was absolutely delicious - I highly recommend saving this place for the end of your trip!
And with that, we drove back to Scotland. I had the most amazing time on my trip to Center Parcs; it's always one of my favourite places to go. If you're looking for a relaxed, casual vacation that's just a little bit different to something you might normally do, then I cannot recommend this place enough! What's one of your favourite places to visit to relax?
