My Travel Bucket List
Today I thought I'd do something a little bit different. Like most wanderlust-infused people, I have an extensive travel bucket list. I also love looking at other people's lists to get inspiration for my own. So today I've decided to write about a selection of bucket list items for you to enjoy!
Step Foot on Antarctica
This one's basically code for the fact that I want to visit every continent. For me, the final step of this challenge would be to make it to Antarctica; the continent furthest away from me. It would be amazing to experience the snowy tundra and watch whales in their natural habitat.

Witness Dia De Los Muertos
I think the Day of the Dead celebrations in Mexico are so beautiful, and I love the attitude they have towards celebrating the deceased. I would be honoured to be able to witness this amazing celebration, and to get to see the bright colours that line the streets.

Walk In A Rainforest
Even when I was young the rainforests have always fascinated me. I'm not sure why, but I've always felt drawn to them. I can't imagine anything more peaceful that walking through a rainforest and experiencing the beautiful wildlife that resides within.

Visit Every Disney Park
If you've been following this blog for a while, this will be no surprise to you. I love the Disney parks, and I certainly hope to visit all six in my lifetime! At present I've visited Orlando and Paris (with California coming soon hopefully). So I have the three Asian parks to go!

Have an Up-and-Close Animal Encounter
Whether it be walking with elephants, feeding giraffes, or swimming with dolphins, I'd love to get the experience to have a personal encounter with one of the world's most amazing creatures.

See the Terracotta Army
I've always been fascinated by the Terracotta Warriors...the sheer scale of them has always wowed me. I can't imagine anything more amazing than looking at 8,000 stone figures that were made over 2,000 years ago.

Get to Everest Base Camp
After watching Kara and Nate's journey up to Everest Base Camp this has been a staple on my bucket list. It would be incredible to see, first hand, the largest mountain in the world, and to have scaled some of it. The villages along the way look beautiful, and I think the whole experience would be a life changing experience.

Visit Angkor Wat
Despite never having been there, I truly believe Angkor Wat might be the most beautiful place on earth. The thought of getting there at sunrise and taking a hot air balloon over the beautiful temples might be the most relaxing thing I can think of!

Visit Chernobyl
I'll admit, I'm a fan of dark tourism. I also tend to travel for history more so than anything else; I love immersing myself on the history of the place I'm visiting, and that includes taking the bad with the good. I think it would be so interesting to go to the, now abandoned, town of Pripyat and experience a true ghost town.

Walk on the Great Wall of China
A true classic on most people's bucket list. to be able to walk on something that old and experience the true beauty of nature, as well as the power of man-made ingenuity, would be an amazing experience.

And that does it for my selection of travel bucket list items. My question of the day is: what items are on your bucket list?
Until next time,
